Wrong Number

“Hello, wrong number.”

“Sweetie it’s me.”

“I know, that’s why it’s a wrong number. I don’t want to talk to you.”

“Come on, this is not the time. What’s wrong with you?”

“You are supposed to call me right at 12’ o clock to wish me, see the time now. Its 30 minutes past midnight. And where’s the surprise you promised me on my birthday?”

“Oh, shut up. You know I am in the police station now, charged for breaking and entering. I came all the way to your house, jumped the wall, chased by your dogs, beaten up by your security guard and arrested by your father with the flower bouquet still in my hands. Were you sleeping the whole time? Didn’t you hear all those shouts and noises? By the way you never told me your dad is Deputy Superintendent of police!”

“Yeah, I thought I will sneak into your house and then in your bedroom and surprise you.”

“My dad is not a cop.”

“Isn’t your door number is 112B?”

“NO! It’s 121B.”

“Damn! Wrong Number.”
